"Everything comes from the state of Tucumbo in the state of Michoacan," Rosales said. "These are originals that come from the families that created them. They're passed down through families from one generation to the other."
"It's between milk and water based," he said.
The flavors include classics like chocolate and strawberry, but with the option to dip any of them in melted chocolate, you could trick a friend into biting into a spicy surprise.
If a Mexican Twinkie sounds too filling, Rosales also has lighter dessert options on his mind.
"We decided to make sorbets because a lot of people in Visalia are trying to be healthy — trying not to get too much sugar into their system," he said.
